Wraps at a Window Film Conference?
As the former editor of Window Film magazine and having helped start PPFMag, we’ve always covered wraps as an adjacent industry. Many shops offer these products, you’ll find them in the same Restyling Hall at SEMA and they have many of the same manufacturers—so they were always worth even coverage.
Now as part of our trade show team, we’ve added wraps to the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) in a big way as well.
That said, we want to encourage vehicle wrappers to attend WFCT not so much for the wraps, but the other profit-generating opportunities. Window and paint protection film are two healthy industries closely related to yours. This show is close to two decades old and there’s no sign of it slowing down. That is a key indicator it’s helping companies be profitable—and if you’re one of the wraps shops that has added this to your products line, you know that to be the case.
There’ll be seminars on how to market this, demos teaching installation, and even Olympian Shaun White as our keynote speaker. Plenty of after-show activities are planned and there will be dozens of companies ready to bring you in and make deals.
Wraps will be there as well. All the major suppliers—HEXIS, FELLERS, Avery Dennison Graphics, 3M, etc.—will be there. So if you can’t make SEMA or WrapsCon all the way out West, consider WFCT (https://www.wfctevent.com/attending/), held this September 20-22 in Virginia Beach.
