Wrap Masters in Madrid Spain with Alta Wrapping Academy

The occasion… World Wrap Masters competition for Spain.  The location… the Alta Wrapping Academy in Madrid, Spain.  The results… three days of fun and intense competition to determine which wrapper would earn the right to move on to the World Wrap Masters FINALS in Barcelona for 2026.

World-renowned wrap trainers and competition judges Carlos Ruiz and Penélope Garrido Milla brought in a Kiss Lajos (Hungary) for the first wrap competition in the area.  To say that the space was wonderfully suited for the event would be an understatement.  Displays and banners, bleachers, music and large monitors adorned every surface to create an immersive wrap environment.

Each day saw different challenges with surfaces to wrap as well as different films were showcased each stage.  Printed films, clear PPF, dry application situations and wet application situations.

The event also saw the introduction of the Wrapping Hunt concept.  The first couple of hours of Day 3 was  combination of live training with a group competition element.  Each competitor had to watch and listen as Carlos demonstrated the techniques and then had to actively complete their own wrap project in real time.  Very intense and fun to watch a motorcycle helmet being wrapped in a custom design from Rafael Muñoz Morales (Prodigyo Wrap Art – Mexico City, Mexico).  All three days were also live-streamed on the Alta Wrapping Academy’s YouTube account to capture every detail.
