The new range of self-adhesive films is intended for the short-term decoration of:

What are the possibilities offered by HOLESHOT HEX’TREM self-adhesive films?

For easy installation, you will find XTPRINT; a gloss white printable film; with a special ultra-reinforced and micro-structured adhesive. 3.5 mil thickness. Available in a 54” x 148’ roll.

As far as laminates are concerned, you can choose from a range of different finishes. You can choose between four different types of laminate:

  • XT300 – Monomeric PVC coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive (gloss) 13 mil thickness. Available in a 54” x 82’ roll.
  • XT300M – Monomeric PVC coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive (matte) 11.5 mil thickness. Available in a 54” x 82’ roll.
  • XT480 – Monomeric PVC coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive (gloss) 18.5 MIL THICKNESS. Available in a 54” x 65’ roll.
  • XTWHOOPS –Monomeric embossed texture laminate 13.5 mil thickness. Available in a 54” x 65’ roll.

HEXIS Worldwide Photo Contest is open!

HEXIS is thrilled to announce the 3rd edition of its HEXIS Worldwide Photo Contest!

This year, the photo contest will run for one month, from 1st to 31 October 2022.

The HEXIS Worldwide Photo Contest is a great opportunity for professionals to showcase their best work with HEXIS products to the world.

Any project where HEXIS self-adhesive vinyl films are used can be entered.

With 7 categories, every participant is invited to submit its best wrapping project in:

  • Automotive
  • Sign
  • Decoration
  • Pure Zone (the HEXIS antimicrobial adhesive film)
  • Solar films
  • Textile
  • Free project

The purpose of the Competition is to award prizes for the photos of the most accomplished projects, from a visual communication point of view, using HEXIS self-adhesive vinyl films.

Winners will be chosen based on criteria of compliance with the theme and category, uniqueness of the design, general visual appearance, technical constraints of the project, print quality and quality of the installation.

There will be 3 winners per category and 1 overall winner. The naming of the winners will occur on week 46 2022, after deliberations of a jury made up of HEXIS professionals.

The entire HEXIS Worldwide Photo Contest prizes are valued at almost € 5,000 (HEXIS gift vouchers, iPhone 14 Pro Max).

Winners also receive social media exposure on our social media handles (174 000 followers) including Facebook and Instagram ads, exposure on the Hexis Graphics websites, and a variety of marketing tools.

Learn and grow your business while you get trained and certified by our team of Certified HEXIS Trainers.  They’ll teach you the tips, tricks, and techniques to working with HEXIS films and you have even more confidence in offering HEXIS to your customers.

This 3-Day course consists of education on HEXIS products, preparation, application, and removal.  Students will receive a Certification of Training, tools to use and keep, HEXIS Apparel, marketing goods (catalogs, swatch-books, and color-charts), and lunch.

The HEXIS, THE200EVO with TAKE HEAT EASY® technology, designed to make installation easier and faster

The TAKE HEAT EASY® technology is the result of a combination of a solvent based adhesive and a micro-structured liner developed by HEXIS R&D team. This innovation has been specially designed to reduce the initial tack and immediate adhesion, thus making the installation of the vinyl more convenient with an optimal adhesive bonding process.

In 2018, HEXIS combined this technology for the first time with a THE190EVO cast PVC film, and, in view of its success, it made sense to now use it on a high-end polymeric PVC film.



Ease of repositioning, print quality and optimal durability are all assets that will allow customers to express their creativity with unlimited possibilities and installers to use it conveniently on flat or slightly curved surfaces, for 2D wrapping projects (buses, lorries, fleet vehicles etc.) and large-format signage.

Late, so late, to WRAPSCON 2019

I was late… really, really late this time.  My flight from Columbus started off just fine but a unwelcome surprise in Phoenix derailed the trip pretty quick.  “We regret to inform you that your flight to Long Beach has been canceled” is NEVER the text you want to recieve while sitting in the airport… CRAP.  Turns out that the airline had proactively re-booked me on another flight… YAY!  …But the flight was going to drop me off at a different airport. An airport an hour away from the convention center… CRAP again!

Still, after catching the new flight and grabbing an Uber driver willing to get me up the coast to Long Beach, I can make this work.  Forget checking in to the AirBNB and who cares that I was carting all my luggage and camera gear.  I told the driver to just drop me in front of the convention hall and let me jump out.  I finally arrived at WRAPSCON 2019! 

From the second I stepped on the floor I felt I was home.  I honestly know that I am one of the most fortunate people in the world to able to earn a living in the wrap industry.  As I am fond of saying, this is the only industry where people pay us to color and play with cars.  We have amazing designers.  We have super cool projects.  We have brilliant tools and gadgets to work with.  We have the best people in the world.  We have #wrapfamily.  

For those of who missed WRAPSCON this year you missed some great stuff.  Ruggs Kochevear and his amazing NBM team spent an entire year putting together a concentrated wrap experience for us.  Where else are you going to see industry greats doing demonstrations in practically every booth?  Where else are going to get Justin Pate and The Wrap Institute team giving talks and allowing anyone to try all the different films? The 3M booth was hustling alongside the KPMF, Orafol and Teckwrap teams. Hexis was running their super popular Wrap battle panels. Famous faces wrapping right in front of you from all over the world. Every single one of them willing to chat, show off a tool or discuss a technique… so cool.

Finally, let’s certainly not forget this year’s Wrap Olympics! A two-person team rolling head-to-head against another one. This unique competition format has the wrappers moving from cars to rough texture walls. Wrapping odd and difficult objects (a bowling ball AND pin this year). Live designing projects and working together to implement the film installation. We had some great teams from all over North America as well as Europe and Asia. The final winners by judges decision was the team “Aloha Hillbillies” made up of Shane Oliberos (Xero Wraps) and Charlie Trujillo (Lettering Express) who took home a massive amount of prizes.

As in year’s past the Wrap Olympic’s judging team was made up of Starla Miller (Miller Decals), Jen Carney (Carbon Wraps), Luis Tirado (WBC Graphics / BladeCage) and Keith Savage (Savage Wraps) and Adam Sumner (Wrapix Imaging) with the whole event MC’ed by everybody’s favorite bayou boy Kevin Kempf (PG Nola). A virtual ton of wrap industry knowledge and expertise in this group for sure.

So, late arrival aside, this year’s WRAPSCON was an event to remember and one you should NOT miss next year!

New Home for HEXIS Americas opens its doors

HEXIS Americas is a new Master Exclusive Representative of HEXIS S.A. – a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive films in the print, signage, automotive/interior restyling and protection, and window film industries. A new 10,000 square foot facility, just 20 minutes north of Atlanta, GA, acts as the main distribution center, sales and administration office, and training center for HEXIS in all of the western hemisphere.

“The objective and vision is to give people what they want and to better supply them with the products that they have come to know and love over the past 30 years. Helping industry professionals plan and execute their upcoming projects is what it’s all about. To help kick-off the new operations and new home, HEXIS Americas recently hosted a Grand Opening Event and Inauguration in late-March 2019. Over 200 people were in attendance, traveling from different parts of North America.
